What is the Prayer Nut? The prayer nut is a wooden object meant to be carried with you daily. You can write down your prayer requests inside this object. This little object can be a help and a reminder. The process of crafting the Prayer Nut has been prayerful and creative. The wood was chosen with great care and has been slowly dried for at least one year. The final steps in this process include: gently to saw, sandpaper, affix the hinges, after which we did a final sandpaper finish and etched the letters WD (Wiebe van Dingen) into the wood of the prayer nut.
